Red Legged Partridge Shoot - Madrid, Spain
This spectacular shoot is approximately three hours west of Madrid. The Spanish Red Legged Partridge is an extremely fast flying bird with as erratic flight pattern, which will make this a most exciting and challenging shoot. This is a driven shoot and we will have a minimum of four drives each day.
The accommodations will be in a beautiful 18th century lodge approximately three hours west of Madrid. There are twelve private bedrooms, each with a private bath. The accommodations are truly exceptional.
The world-class meals are sure to please everyone's taste buds and will consist of steak, seafood, Paella and other Spanish cuisine. Also included will be the finest wines the region has to offer. Hor d'oeurves and an open bar will precede the evening meal. As this is a true gentleman's hunt, a jacket is required for dinner as the evening meal is a very special end of a great day.
The ranch is located only fifteen miles from Salamanca, the most beautiful renaissance city in Spain. Its famous cathedral was started in the 12th century. The Plaza Mayor is known to be the finest in the world. The Roman bridge, the Plateresque University facade, and some of the most impressive churches and monasteries in Gothic, Platersque and Romanic styles are located in Salamanca City, known as the "Renaissance Jewel." On the way from the airport to the ranch you may visit Avila and its medieval stonewall, and El Escorial, the palace of Emperador Felipe II.
Upon your arrival in Madrid, Spain, you will be met by a bilingual host, assisted through customs, and then transferred to the lodge. After lunch you may rest and relax. The dinner meal will be very special and after a good night sleep you wil be ready for three full days of shooting. The morning after your last day of shooting you will be transferred to the Madrid Airport for your flight home.
The Red Legged Partridge package shoot as described above will include all meals, four nights lodging, refreshments, three full days of shooting, and round-trip ground transportation from Madrid to the ranch. Not included in this package are: shells, gratuities, and items of a personal nature. The hunting fee for the driven Red Legged Partridge shoot is available by quote. These hunts will be offered from October to February.
