Bolivia Dove Hunting
Enjoy some of the greatest bird shooting in the world in Bolivia's Chaco Valley. An estimated thirty million Eared Doves are found here, and these fast flying, darting targets are non-migratory and remain in the Chaco Valley year round. The Eared Dove has grown to proportions that threaten the rich agriculture of the Chaco Valley. Hunters are very welcome in this valley in the hopes of containing the rapidly expanding population of the doves.
The farm setting of the Chaco Valley is hundreds of miles of sunflower, sorghum, and corn fields. In the distance are the beautiful Andes Mountains. This panorama can be enjoyed while you settle into a truly gourmet meal of steaks, seafood, dove kabobs, and other culinary delights served on linen tablecloths, set with fine china, glassware, and sparking silverware. South American wines are offered with each meal as well as soft drinks and beer.
Your stay will be at a beautiful lodge consisting of four very comfortable duplex cabins, each complete with two beds, air conditioning, private bath and shower. The main lodge, lounge, and dining area, overlook the swimming pool.
Your trip will originate in the Miami Airport with an overnight flight to Santa Cruz, Bolivia where upon arrival you will be met by an English speaking representative, assisted through customs, then transferred to the lodge. After a good lunch, you will begin your first afternoon shoot. The next two days will be full hunting days. After the last morning hunt you will have lunch then be transferred back to Santa Cruz Airport for your flight to Miami.
This package as described includes three full days of shooting, a bilingual host from arrival in Santa Cruz to departure, all ground transportation, accommodations in a private lodge, all meals whil at the lodge including beer and wine with lunch and dinner, soft drinks, bottled water, and hunting permits.
Santa Cruz, Bolivia Package: This is a three - day package. Expect to shoot 1000 - 1500 shells each day.
